Welcome to Healthcare Higher Education, Inc. We are the leading nonprofit organization, and we ardently provide scholarships and support for healthcare professionals from all fields pursuing education opportunities with heart and soul.

Our Story

Founded by Nurse Practitioner and paramedic Matthew Kuhn, Healthcare Higher Education, Inc. is an endeavor to honor the legacy of Glynn Lookabill, a close friend and a staunch advocate for emergency medical services (EMS) education.

After Glynn’s passing in 2024, Matthew was inspired to establish an organization that would carry forward Glynn’s dedication to empowering EMS providers, as well as professionals from other medical disciplines. Our organization is a product of the desire to turn a personal loss into a symbol of hope and opportunity for healthcare workers. Our scholarships aim to support healthcare professionals who wish to seek additional training and certification to advance their careers.

We provide a variety of need-based and merit-based scholarships for healthcare students. This includes the Glynn Lookabill Memorial EMS Scholarship of up to $2000 for emergency medical services providers securing bachelor’s degrees. Other healthcare scholarships support students in nursing, public health, occupational therapy, and more.
